RN-Vascular Surgery/M5
Patient Population: You will be caring for patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring knowledge of all body systems. Many of these patients are fresh amputations, vascular wounds, extensive vascular surgery to restore blood flow, etc.
Procedures performed on unit: Assist with Chest tube insertion; Central Lines, Wound Vac changes, NG, Cortrak, catheter, indwelling catheters, doplars, dressing changes, pin care. Fasciotomy care, ostomy care
